God doesn't give children with special needs to strong people; He gives children with special needs to ordinary, weak people and then gives them strength. Raising a child with special needs doesn't take a special family, it makes a special family.

Surgery

Well my doctor's appointment didn't go so well today. Dr. Jane thinks there is something wrong with my shunt, so I am having surgery on Thursday to fix it. I know Mommy and Daddy don't want me to go into another surgery, but Dr. Jane is one of the best so I know I am in good hands. Please say lots of prayers for me in the next few days. Mommy and I are staying in Charlottesville for my pre-op stuff tomorrow and then we will still go to my other appointments that were scheduled. If I do good after surgery, I should be able to go home Friday or Saturday. I know I will do great!! Thanks for praying for me...and say some for Mommy and Daddy too!!
