Here I am reading with "Sissy", my Great Aunt from California. She came for a visit last weekend since she was just a few hours away for work. I hadn't seen her since May, so she couldn't believe how much I've grown!!

- When Brenden was born with Spina Bifida, we were faced with many ups and downs. Early on, we knew we had to embrace this journey instead of dwelling on the negative. While this path we are on has had plenty of bumps, our faith in God has allowed us to see the good through all the bad. Spina Bifida is a part of our lives, and always will be, but we have chosen to use our story to reach others and give Brenden every chance to succeed in life. I hope this blog will touch other families dealing with Spina Bifida.
