Mommy said she promises to post pictures later (probably after I go to bed!) but we wanted to thank everyone for all your prayers over the last few months. Mommy and Daddy met with a high risk specialist this morning....and my baby sister is completely healthy!!!! That's right, it's a girl! Mommy's blood work came back normal and the doctor said since the ultrasound looked great, she is 99.9% sure everything is ok!

- When Brenden was born with Spina Bifida, we were faced with many ups and downs. Early on, we knew we had to embrace this journey instead of dwelling on the negative. While this path we are on has had plenty of bumps, our faith in God has allowed us to see the good through all the bad. Spina Bifida is a part of our lives, and always will be, but we have chosen to use our story to reach others and give Brenden every chance to succeed in life. I hope this blog will touch other families dealing with Spina Bifida.

Wow! I didn't even know you were expecting! Congratulations and praise God for a healthy baby girl!!! I am so happy for you guys! What a blessing she will be to your family - and what a wonderful family for her to be welcomed into. :) When are you due??
Congrats! I bet Brendan is very excited for a baby sister. I know the family can't wait.
