God doesn't give children with special needs to strong people; He gives children with special needs to ordinary, weak people and then gives them strength. Raising a child with special needs doesn't take a special family, it makes a special family.

As you all know, I had my tonsils and adenoids removed on Friday. It was such a breeze....it was like nothing ever happened! I had to spend one night in PICU to make sure it didn't interrupt my breathing, but I got to go home the very next morning. Dr. Early said I could eat all the ice cream I wanted, so at 5am, I woke up and asked my nurse for some chocolate ice cream......but from then on out, it was back to real food for me!! I think Mommy was a bit surprised that I didn't seem to notice that I had just had surgery, but this was a piece of cake compared to everything else I've been through! Mommy is very excited that I don't snore at night anymore!!!! Now she won't have to wear ear plugs when we take a nap together :)

Gowned up and ready to go!

Madelynn is growing up way too fast :( Here she is in her new big girl carseat.

Do I look like such a big boy, or what?!?!? I'm getting really good using my walker....just have to work on getting stronger!

I'm so glad things are going well from the surgery - kids are so resilient! And that smile with in the walker picture - even in the hospital pic with the gown and cap, such a great, huge smile!! You've got quite a charmer there...
