God doesn't give children with special needs to strong people; He gives children with special needs to ordinary, weak people and then gives them strength. Raising a child with special needs doesn't take a special family, it makes a special family.

The Mighty Power of Prayer

You loyal readers probably remember the post a few weeks ago about a mom who was possibly choosing to terminate her pregnancy after learning that her baby would be born with spina bifida. You will also remember that I posted about the Spina Bifida Kids Worldwide Day of Prayer.
One of the reasons the day of prayer was declared was to pray specifically for this mom. The same day we were praying, she was meeting with a pediatric neurosurgeon to the get results of a fetal MRI. Essentially she would learn just how severe the baby's SB would likely be.
Over 3,000 people committed to pray for this woman that she would find comfort and choose to let her baby live, regardless of SB. Well I am so excited to tell you that she WILL be continuing her pregnancy! She has chosen to receive this special miracle that God has blessed her with!!
That, my friends, is the power of prayer!!
