God doesn't give children with special needs to strong people; He gives children with special needs to ordinary, weak people and then gives them strength. Raising a child with special needs doesn't take a special family, it makes a special family.

Today was momentous for many reasons....one being that I pet Bo for the very first time! And I did it over, and over, and over! He's not so bad, after all!!

Now on to the main event of today....the 2010 SB Walk-N-Roll!!! The morning started off a bit chilly, but once we got moving we warmed up. I did a little walking, I did a little wagon riding, and I met some pretty little ladies :)

All of the SB superstars were given a balloon!! But then Grandaddy accidentally let it get off the string and I watched it go up, up, and away!

Is this a good-lookin' team or what?!?! Our shirts said "Someone with Spina Bifida makes me proud everyday." We ended up being the #2 fundraisers, with just over $4,100 raised! The team that beat us raised about $6,000 and they drove 11 hours to get here.....from Indiana (and a few from New York)!!!
A BIG thanks to everyone who donated to support our team. Your generosity will help the local SB community in so many ways! We WILL be #1 next year :)
