God doesn't give children with special needs to strong people; He gives children with special needs to ordinary, weak people and then gives them strength. Raising a child with special needs doesn't take a special family, it makes a special family.

My First Parade!!

Well it was Apple Harvest weekend, so I got to go to my first parade!! As you can see, it was a bit chilly, so Mommy had me all bundled up so I wouldn't get cold!

I was tired of waiting for the fun to start, so I decided to take a nap. Mommy said I slept through all the noisy fire trucks...what can I say?!?!? I was sleepy!

About half way through I figured I should wake up so I didn't miss the whole thing. Daddy says next year he will help me get some candy that people throw as they go by....I can't wait!!!

I must say I enjoyed my first parade. I can't wait 'til next year!!

God is so good... This title just touched me... the word "FIRST"... My eyes are just full of tears and I have cold chills. God has given us beautiful children and he has given us the gift of sharing "First" times with them. What a beautiful thing that you will see all of Brendens "Firsts"
Love, Gina
