God doesn't give children with special needs to strong people; He gives children with special needs to ordinary, weak people and then gives them strength. Raising a child with special needs doesn't take a special family, it makes a special family.

Here I am in my cage waiting to go in for surgery....I had no idea what I was in for!!

Just a few hours after I woke up....still a little groggy and drugged up, but I was still making everyone laugh! Dr. Jane and Ms. Sarah (his nurse practitioner) kept saying I have a freakishly high pain tolerance! (Got that from Mommy!) They couldn't believe how much I was able to move my neck just one day after surgery.

I was so happy to be home and so happy to see Madelynn! It seems like she got so big while we were gone. She's almost sitting up on her own and she wants to stand ALL the time!! She's trying hard to learn how to crawl so it's only a matter of time before she's chasing me around!!
