God doesn't give children with special needs to strong people; He gives children with special needs to ordinary, weak people and then gives them strength. Raising a child with special needs doesn't take a special family, it makes a special family.

To some amazing moms, I want to say thank you. Thank you for your encouragement, your kind words, your support and advice. Thank you for understanding just where I am and the emotions that come along with this journey we are on. I have received so many emails and Facebook messages letting me know that there are people out there praying. Some have been praying since I posted 9 weeks ago about Brenden's upcoming MRI results. Some pray with their kids each night during bedtime prayers.

I consider some of my fellow SB moms as close friends, though we have never met. It is from these moms that I receive so much love and support, regardless the situation. To each of you, I want to say thank you for your uplifting messages as we prepare for Brenden's MRI results on Monday. You have reminded me that he is in God's hands and to expect a miracle.

Oh honey I feel the same gratitude toward YOU and all our other SB mommies - and even non-SB families who have stuck by our side and prayed and asked and helped. Still praying for positive and encouraging results for Brenden!
